Magazine editorial
Why We Sleep is an editorial magazine project inspired by the science of sleep and its impact on our physical and mental well-being. Designed as a feature for WIRED Magazine, the project explores how scientific and research-driven content can be translated into an engaging and accessible visual experience.
The design focuses on creating a strong editorial system through typography, grid structure, hierarchy, imagery, and data visualization. I experimented with scale, spacing, and composition to balance information-heavy content with visual breathing room, while maintaining the bold and contemporary aesthetic associated with WIRED.
Through this project, I strengthened my understanding of editorial design and long-form layout, particularly how consistent visual systems can guide readers through complex information while keeping the experience dynamic and engaging.
